Il giovane Tyler, fanatico e ossessionato dai film horror, è deciso a rintracciare il luogo esatto in cui è stato girato uno dei suoi film preferiti, uno slasher movie particolarmente violento e realistico. Riesce a convicere due suoi amici ad accompagnarlo e una volta raggiunta la meta, una misteriosa foresta, i tre scoprono che le riprese del film non si sono mai concluse e chiunque si trova a passare da quelle parti finisce suo malgrado nella serie horror.
